But whatever the reasons, I’m glad I’ve experienced The Henry Stickmin Collection.Īs you might’ve guessed from the intro, the game works kinda like a choose your own adventure. And also probably because the developers managed to get well known due to their other project – Among Us, – which gained a huge audience during the past year. And I might’ve never knew about them if not for the fact that the developers of the game decided to not just “remaster” the series, but also create a completely new entry. Somehow, I’ve completely missed the Henry Stickmin games back in those days.
Simple games like Moon Waltz or Caesar’s Day Off. My personal favorites have always been choose your own adventure toy boxes, where most or even all choices you make lead to fun results. Maybe even originally lost among crappy horror themed jump scare fueled point and click adventure games and edgy crap.

As you will see, he’s quite an adventurer and thrill-seeker. Each of them tells a separate episode from Henry Stickmin’s life. Not that it affects any-thing, but it’s certainly a reason to be proud! Trouble piles up, and so does fun! Besides, unlocking different endings will allow you to earn achievements and increase your rating. Sometimes it’s interesting to replay a certain chapter just to see what could happen if you did things differently the first time. But once you start playing, you will be instantly absorbed by the fascinating pro-cess of making choices and seeing where they lead!Įvery time you decide what to do in a particular situation – be it sneaking past the prison guard or entering a fight with him or even simply turning left or fight – that will unfold a whole slew of events different for each of the alternative story developments. Everything is very simple – basically, just the outlines of the set-ting, hand-drawn interactive objects and the main hero consisting of just a bunch of sticks (probably hence his name). When you launch Henry Stickmin Collection and start the very first chapter, you might be surprised by the graphical style of the game.
